Privacy

This site collects as little as possible.

Newsletter

If you join the newsletter, your email address is stored with Kit (kit.com), the service that sends it. I use it only to send you news about my books and occasional recommendations. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, and your address is then removed from the list.

Kit may record whether emails are opened or links clicked, so I can see what readers find useful. You can read Kit’s privacy policy.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies.

Links to shops

Links to Amazon and other shops take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies. Some links on the Recommended reads page are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Your rights and contact

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data held about you, or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). To get in touch, email [email protected].
